Project Details

Since 2023 S.W. Yorke Fencing Contractors have been working with Barratt & David Wilson Homes on a new site in Hermitage Lane – The Poppies.

Our client required tough and visually appealing steel railings and custom fencing for the new estate. The task was to supply and install a fencing solution that combined security, durability and added aesthetic value. Additionally, the developer needed a bespoke solution to fit specific architectural requirements and ensure safety and privacy for the premises alongside pumping station fencing to comply to handover to management company following the finished site.

Newt/reptile fencing was installed around the site boundary for the duration of site works. We also installed temporary hoarding and Heras fencing throughout the site to create a safe working environment and control access to certain zones within the site. Site gates were installed at points for traffic flow whilst maintaining high security. These temporary structures ensured compliance with health and safety regulations whilst also providing an aesthetic professional finish. Hundreds of metres of closeboard fencing was also installed on concrete blocks that use turn-key oporation via use of our crane.

S.W. Yorke Fencing Contractors then proceeded to erect steel hoardings – the panels were made from galvanised steel – which would provide resistance to corrosion and extend the duration of the hoarding lifespan. The steel hoarding effectively secured the site, preventing unauthorised access and protecting valuable materials and equipment from theft.
